Dresser un état des lieux de l'écosystème « Manche Ouest » via la récolte de données complètes couvrant un maximum de compartiments de ce système (hydrologie, compartiments planctoniques incluant oeufs et larves de poissons, invertébrés benthiques, poissons et céphalopodes pélagiques, démersaux et benthiques, oiseaux et mammifères marins). Déterminer l'impact du changement climatique en Manche sur la composition des assemblages d'invertébrés benthiques, groupe intégrateur de ces changements, via l'échantillonnage de stations particulières pour lesquelles des données historiques existent. Réaliser une intercalibration avec le N/O Gwen Drez de façon à pouvoir poursuivre sur un autre navire la série de données CGFS (Channel Ground Fish Survey) dans les années à venir.

To draw up an inventory of the "Western Channel" ecosystem by collecting complete data covering a maximum of compartments of this system (hydrology, planktonic compartments including fish eggs and larvae, benthic invertebrates, pelagic, demersal and benthic fish and cephalopods, birds and marine mammals). To determine the impact of climate change in the Channel on the composition of benthic invertebrate assemblages, the integrator group of these changes, through sampling of particular stations for which historical data exist. Carry out an intercalibration with the N/O Gwen Drez so that the CGFS (Channel Ground Fish Survey) data set can be continued on another vessel in the coming years.

La CAmpagne MANche OCcidentale pluridisciplinaire (CAMANOC) s’est déroulée entre le 16 septembre et le 13 octobre 2014.



Les échantillonnages réalisés ont été :

- 89 chalutages (selon une stratification dépendant de la profondeur et de la diversité sédimentaire)

- 199 dragues Rallier du Baty (suivant 2 radiales est-ouest)

- 21 points de vidéo sous-marine

- 92 profils CDT et prélèvements d’eau de sub-surface (niskin)

- 91 stations de filet à plancton WP2

- 68 stations de filets à larves Bongo

- environ 500 prélèvements d’eau en semi-continu le long du trajet (CUFES)

The multidisciplinary CAmpagne MANche OCcidentale (CAMANOC) took place between 16 September and 13 October 2014.



The sampling carried out was :

- 89 trawls (according to a stratification depending on depth and sediment diversity)

- 199 Rallier du Baty dredges (following 2 east-west radials)

- 21 underwater video points

- 92 CDT profiles and sub-surface water samples (niskin)

- 91 plankton net stations WP2

- 68 Bongo larvae net stations

- approximately 500 semi-continuous water samples along the route (CUFES)
