Dendrometric data of silvicultural scenarios from the French National Forests Office’s (ONF)
The different silvicultural guides written by experts from the French National Forests Office were built using growth and yield model simulations. This database gather various usual dendrometric data extracted from those simulations and used to assess carbon storage in managed public forest stands. Special attention was paid to offer carbon metrics required for the French Label Bas Carbone offset projects.

This dataset has been created to give a broader access to silvicultural scenarios built by ONF experts and facilitate the publishing of their updates and developments. The simulated dendrometric dataset can help provide a realistic silvicultural framework for projects wishing to evaluate the effects of forest management on different forest ecosystem features or services. A first example of valorisation was included in the database as different metrics of carbon storage were calculated for each silvicutural scenario.
