In particular, this database collects observational data (long-term series, location reports, spatial studies, etc.). One of RESOMAR’s objectives, in the creation of this database, is to exploit the biological information acquired by the marine stations and observatories in order to answer scientific questions concerning, for example, the factors that control the distribution and abundance of organisms over different spatial scales and over different time scales. As a first step, the database will only be accessible to members of the network which provided data and signed the data usage charter. The charter defines, in particular, the conditions of use of the data. The managers of the datasets in this database are entitled to open the access to data.
