The supply partner is not in a position to guarantee the correctness, up-to-dateness, completeness of the model and in particular that it is free of errors or inaccuracies. No guarantee for the suitability of the model for a particular purpose is given by the supplier partner. The users use the model under their full responsibility, without possible recourse against the partner supplier whose responsibility could not be committed because of a damage resulting directly or indirectly from the use of this model. In particular, it is up to the users to appreciate, under their only responsibility: the advisability to use the model; the compatibility of the files with their data-processing systems; the adequacy of the model with their needs; that they have the sufficient competence to use the model. The partner supplier is in no way responsible for the elements outside the model and in particular for the analysis tools, hardware, software, networks..., used to run the model and/or analyze the results.

This application was created as a result of the OSIRISC project (Towards an Integrated ObServatory of Coastal Erosion and Submergence Risks). It has been designed to allow hazard measurements to be carried out in the field, using standardized protocols.
CoastAppli is built in an interdisciplinary way, both from a scientific and pedagogical point of view. Facilitating the information of indicators through an application allows the adhesion of more managers, and the integration of coastal users in the data collection (as it is the case for applications like Rivages, or Coastsnap).
Objectives:
Facilitate reliable, accurate, and timely measurements in the field.
Involve all the public in the monitoring of coastal hazards on a territory.
Acquire scientific data (harvestable by each user, experiment or not) and use them to better understand the evolution of erosion and submersion hazards, in order to anticipate related problems.
Uses:
There are different profiles depending on the experience of the user (beginner, experienced, manager).
The protocols are standardized and adaptable for all types of coastlines (beaches, dunes, cliffs, artificial coasts).
The data collection process is rigorous and usable for scientific studies.
Functionalities:
The application is available for download above and for all Android smartphones. It is free so that everyone can participate in the monitoring of coastal hazards!
Simple measurement tools are integrated into the application for both novice and experienced users. Professional measurement tools can be used with the application's protocols by managers.
Information on the study sites is available in order to know their specificities (description, history, hazards...).
A reward system in the form of badges to identify the best observers.
