Visualization Geo Webservice (WMS) for the Limits of the areas of the North East Atlantic Fisheries Commission (NEAFC) convention. Includes the "convention area" as defined in Article 1 a) of the Convention, and "regulatory areas" as waters of the Convention Area which lie beyond the waters under fisheries jurisdiction of the Contracting Parties (Exclusive Economic Zones).The North East Atlantic Fisheries Commission (NEAFC) is the Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (RFMO) for the North East Atlantic, one of the most abundant fishing areas in the world, whose objective is to ensure the long-term conservation and optimum utilisation of the fishery resources in the Convention Area, providing sustainable economic, environmental and social benefits by adopting management measures for various fish stocks and control measures to ensure that they are properly implemented..
