Les données sur les INB sont issues du site internet de l'International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), complétées par des informations provenant du site de l'Autorité de Sureté Nucléaire (ASN). La géolocalisation des Installations Nucléaires de Base provient du site de l'ASN.

Les périmètres de sécurité ne tiennent pas compte des spécificités de chaque INB et ne proposent que 4 rayons différents (2, 5, 10 et 20 km), correspondant à ce que l'on retrouve le plus sur les différents plans de secours des communes concernées (PUI, PPI, PCS...). Ils peuvent ainsi être des périmètres de mise a l'abri ou d'évacuation.
