Réserves intégrales de parc national

Au sein d'un cœur de parc national, il peut être institué une « réserve intégrale » afin d'assurer, dans un but scientifique, une protection plus grande de certains éléments de la faune et de la flore. Les réserves intégrales de parc national sont établies en tenant compte de l'occupation humaine et de ses caractéristiques. Les réserves intégrales de parcs peuvent relever de la catégorie Ia de l'UICN.
