Potentiel méthanisable - Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes - 2024
Dans le cadre de l’évaluation des potentiels d’énergies renouvelables, le potentiel méthanisable a été caractérisé pour la région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. L’évaluation de ce potentiel est fondée sur une méthodologie développée par Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Énergie Environnement (AURA-EE). L’objectif de ce document est de présenter les principes généraux de la méthodologie et ses principales étapes. Dans un premier temps, les quantités de matières sont déterminées par filière. La part mobilisable de ces différentes quantités de matières est ensuite estimée puis convertie en volume de méthane et en énergie (GWh). La partie déjà exploitée de ce potentiel est estimée à l’aide du suivi régional mutualisé de la filière méthanisation (suivi annuel DREAL / Région /ADEME opéré par la DREAL et AURA-EE). Elle est retranchée du potentiel pour obtenir le potentiel restant.
À noter que la méthodologie présentée ici est évolutive et pourra être améliorée à l’avenir.
