Sentinel-1 images downloaded at "level 1" on the ESA website. First step is the cutting of our study area.Second step application of an orbit vector. For increased reliability,application of a new orbit file determined several days after the publication of the data (obtaining the position and speed of the satellite).Third step Radiometric calibration of the image.Conversion of the digital pixel values into calibrated SAR backscatter values.The intensity data present in the Sentinel-1 GRD products will be converted to zero sigma values.Fourth step is the application of the geometric Doppler correction of the images related to distortions caused by the topography.The digital terrain model used is the SRTM3Sec,to georeference our pixel matrix in the WGS 84 UTM zone 43N projection,corresponding to our study terrain.The type of resampling chosen is a bilinear interpolation resampling in order to take into account the close neighborhood of the pixel.Fifth step is the reduction of speckle with the use of the "Refined Lee filter" in order to preserve the spatial information of the object contours.Last step of this processing chain is the transformation of images in decibels through a logarithmic transformation (log10) for a better visualization and exploitation of the results.
