Dataset of Transnational Forest Governance Arrangements

We present a dataset of transnational governance arrangements that formally address forest issues. This database can be used to develop models of stakeholder participation in transnational forest governance; or to compare the institutional characteristics of different sets of arrangements.

This database is a result of the project “Interplay of Regional Forest Regimes: combining qualitative and quantitative insights on regional powers” funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. Its main objective is to be used to analyze and compare the institutional design of transnational forest governance arrangements.
