Açores Archipelago historical nautical chart- 1996

This dataset contains a historical nautical chart of Açores Archipelago. This chart is in the Mercator projection. The Hydrographic Institute, as the national entity responsible for the production of nautical cartography for areas of national maritime interest, has a collection of 3700 historical charts in analog format. These includes letters from Continental Portugal, the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Guinea, Sao Tome and Principe and India.
